Founder and Lead Consultant
Emily Merson
A global entrepreneur and social impact leader, Emily Merson has spent decades at the intersection of education and mission-driven business, leading large global teams. From her early years at UNESCO in Jakarta to peace research in Sweden, her career includes the successful launch and exit of her startup in 2019, Global Experiences, and 6 years leading AIFS Abroad, a large global education company based in the US.
With degrees from UNSW in Sydney and Uppsala University in Sweden, and a certification in Design Thinking from Harvard University, the 2015 “Enterprising Woman of the Year,” she currently serves as Board President for CANIE, the global climate organization.
Emily founded Mersonian Global to leverage her decades of expertise in helping purpose-driven organizations navigate complex international expansion. Mersonian is currently in its pre-operational phase in France, with a focus on maximizing social impact and strategic growth for NGOs and social enterprises.
Emily splits her time between France, Australia, and the U.S.
Senior Consultant
Mallory Meiser
Mallory is a multiple-time founder and operator with deep expertise in finance, operations, and AI. She is the Co-Founder of Boomerang Intelligence and previously co-founded Verto Education.
Mallory holds an MBA from Columbia University Business School, an MA from Goldsmith College in London, and is on the board of the Gap Year Association.
She has built and scaled ventures across the education and technology sectors, bringing disciplined financial leadership, operational excellence, and thoughtful AI integration to mission-driven organizations.
Mallory has lived and worked abroad in the UK and is based in New York City.
Junior Consultant
Jared Reilly
Jared’s experience is rooted in a people-first approach to business development. Working in a range of areas, including in the areas of communications for Students for Change in Dublin, and a sustainability organization, before fundraising in Boston for Boston Children’s Hospital, and most recently in Sydney helping develop and market new ventures.
Originally from the US and Australia, Jared holds an honors degree from Trinity College Dublin in Philosophy and Politics. Jared’s global perspective has been developed by having lived in four countries and speaking French and Spanish.
Jared has a proven track record in fundraising, marketing, materials development, and sales. Jared now works to support clients during their projects with Mersonian Global. Jared is currently based in Sydney, Australia.
